Top 8 Finish to End the Semester!

Georgetown Debate ended the first semester of competition with a strong showing at the Wake Forest Tournament.

Juniors Connelly Cowan & Benjamin Sayers reached the quarterfinals after impressive wins over Liberty, West Georgia, Harvard, Michigan State, and NYU. Connelly was also the 10th Speaker!

Our first year Georgetown debaters, Scott Pawley + Vikram Valame had an impressive 4-3 showing with wins over UTD, Binghamton, Purdue, and Oklahoma. PV just missed on clearing to elimination rounds.

In the second semester, Georgetown debaters will compete at the Georgetown Tournament, Texas, ADA Nationals, D7 Qualifiers, and the NDT.
