Georgetown Debate had a busy January with success at home & online!

Georgetown Debate hosted the Georgetown College Tournament from January 4-6. Georgetown Debate hosted 200 people in the ICC with several judges and competitors joining us virtually from around the country. Over three days of competition, Georgetown’s tournament facilitated nearly 300 debate rounds!

Georgetown CS competed and went 5-2 with a loss in the double octafinals. Georgetown PV went 3-5.

At the Crowe Warken Debates hosted online by the US Naval Academy, Georgetown PV went 4-4 and narrowly missed elims after wins over Michigan, Minnesota, Dartmouth, and Penn!

In a couple of weeks, the team will travel to Austin, TX for the Texas Open tournament. Hoya Saxa!
