Georgetown Qualifies 2 Teams to National Debate Tournament; BP Ranked in Top 16

Georgetown will be represented by 2 different partnerships at the National Debate Tournament in March. David Bernstein (SFS ’21) and Raffi Piliero (COL ’21) were selected as a First Round At Large qualifying team, which places them within the top 16 partnerships in the nation based on their record in the regular season. Kelly Anderson (SFS ’23) and Anne Greer (COL ’23) earned a second bid at the District VII qualifying tournament in February.

Kathy Martinez (COL ’23) and Jong Hak Won (SFS ’21) placed 7th overall at the D7 tournament, and would also have qualified to the NDT if not for restrictions on the number of eligible teams per school.
