Strong showing at the UK Patterson Tournament

Georgetown Debate finished strong at the the University of Kentucky tournament this past weekend!

Georgetown LW finished preliminary debates with an impressive 5-1 record and won their doubles & octas debates to finish their run in the quarterfinals.

Georgetown ZZ & Georgetown GW went 4-2 and finished with strong performances in the doubles.

Georgetown HK went 3-3 and had some great debates against excellent teams!

We also had some notable speaker awards! Out of 188 debaters, Kumail Zaidi (Class of 2024) was the 22nd speaker and Zidao Wang (Class of 2024) was the 23rd speaker.

Thanks to the University of Kentucky & the tournament staff for hosting an excellent tournament!
