Georgetown Sophomores Extend NDT Elimination Round Streak

At the 2019 National Debate Tournament at the University of Minnesota, Georgetown BP (David Bernstein & Raffi Piliero) cleared to the elimination rounds as the 19th seed. They were defeated by a team from Harvard who came into the tournament ranked 2nd in the nation. David (SFS ’21) and Raffi (C ’21) are both sophomores.
This is the ninth consecutive year that Georgetown has debated in the elimination rounds at the national championship tournament.
