After a busy few days of school and our Alumni Reunion, LW was back on the road for the Kentucky Round Robin hosted by the University of Kentucky. The Kentucky Round Robin is one of the most prestigious tournaments in college debate, reserved for the top seven teams in the country. Just being invited is a huge honor! At the Round Robin, LW had wins against Dartmouth, Emory, Iowa, and Michigan, and finished in 2nd place overall.

Georgetown brought four teams to the Kentucky tournament that followed the round robin. Held in Lexington from 9/30 – 10/2, our teams debated against teams from across the US. First-year student Michael Greenberg debuted with sophomore Ben Sayers and finished with a solid 3-3 record. ZZ also finished with a 3-3 record after some tough losses to top teams. LW finished prelims undefeated as the 2nd seed and ended the tournament as finalists. Zidao was the 4th Speaker and Kieran was the 5th Speaker.
