Georgetown Debate has hit the ground running for the 24-25 season! After graduating three seniors in the Spring, the Hoyas sprung back into action with a quarterfinals finish at the Northwestern Tournament to start the season.
Georgetown Debate finished the 2023-2024 year strong with impressive performances at the National Debate Tournament and public debate showings in the DC Area. Georgetown Debate also broke a record for the University by having three teams in elimination rounds of the National Debate Tournament.
Georgetown Debate competed at four tournaments over the past five weekends! Our students and staff traveled to Southern California, Hanover, Newark, Annapolis, and Austin.
